Trinity Shopfitting teamed with Vie Studio to craft an authentic Edomae experience that celebrates Japanese heritage through refined detailing and efficient service flow.
Design Approach
We introduced custom oak-veneer joinery and vertical timber battens to evoke natural warmth and nod to traditional craftsmanship. A central open sushi counter with stainless-steel and Corian preparation surfaces ensures optimal hygiene and direct engagement between chefs and guests. Discreet LED strip lighting highlights menu displays and feature elements, while flush-fit cabinetry and concealed service corridors maximize the 141.9 m² layout for streamlined back-of-house operations.
Edomae Sushi Yokocho Burwood has swiftly become a Burwood Grand highlight. Its cohesive design has elevated brand perception, increased foot traffic and set a new standard for authentic sushi fit-outs.
