Nestled in The Rocks’ historic precinct, just off the bustling waterfront promenade, Sushi Yuzen welcomes a steady stream of both locals and visitors, thanks to its prominent street presence.
Trinity Shopfitting partnered with E Pedersen Design to bring a contemporary Japanese takeaway concept to life, combining authentic joinery and finishes with an efficient, streamlined service layout.
Design Approach
Vertical timber slats and custom floating shelves evoke the feel of traditional shopfronts, while recessed LED channels and backlit acrylic signage provide a modern contrast. The open-front stainless steel counter and Corian wrapped prep surfaces deliver hygiene and resilience for high-volume service. Flush-fit joinery conceals storage and utilities, maximising use of the compact 20 m² footprint without sacrificing style or function.
Sushi Yuzen The Rocks has swiftly become a go-to destination for takeaway sushi in the precinct. Its seamless blend of authentic Japanese character and operational efficiency has elevated the brand’s profile and set a new benchmark for compact hospitality fit-outs.
