Situated within Darling Quarter’s bustling laneways and food precinct, Dopa by Devon benefits from high visibility and a constant flow of shoppers, office workers and visitors. Trinity Shopfitting partnered with Span Design Studio to translate the Devon Café team’s brand legacy into a playful, efficient environment that surprises and delights.
Design Approach
Custom terrazzo-topped counters and pastel-toned joinery punctuated by brass hardware reflect Dopa’s signature palette. Integrated LED strip lighting highlights the bespoke joinery and menu boards, guiding guests fluidly through the compact 94.7 m² layout. Bespoke banquette seating and slender stools optimise customer circulation, while durable Corian prep surfaces and stainless-steel fixtures ensure hygiene and long-term resilience.
Dopa by Devon Darling Quarter has swiftly become a go-to destination for fresh Japanese café experiences in the precinct. Its engaging aesthetic and streamlined service model has increased customer dwell times, elevated brand presence and set a new standard for playful café fit-outs.
