Nestled within Regent Place’s bustling retail and dining hub, the ground-floor corner tenancy captures heavy pedestrian flow and seamless access for office workers and visitors.

Trinity Shopfitting worked together with Vie Studio to reinterpret a traditional Japanese yakitori concept into a compact yet engaging environment that balances authentic character with streamlined operation.

Design Approach

We integrated vertical timber battens and textured wall panels to evoke the charm of intimate yakitori stalls, paired with sleek blackened-steel benching and custom metalwork for an industrial edge. Concealed linear LED channels highlight feature elements and menu zones, while a central open-grill counter invites diners to connect with chefs. Heat-resistant quartz surfaces and stainless-steel splashbacks ensure hygiene and resilience, and a high-capacity extraction hood plus hidden service corridors optimise back-of-house efficiency.

Yakitori Yokocho Regent Place has swiftly become a Regent Place fixture. Its dynamic open-grill theatre, cohesive aesthetic, and efficient layout have boosted customer engagement, reinforced brand recognition, and set a new benchmark for premium yakitori fit-outs.
